Just a very quick question, my partner and I are wondering if there are any expat rock climbing groups in Seoul or Gyeonggi. We live in Gwangju.
Quick question with an even quicker answer: Korea on the Rocks. I also talked about climbing a few months ago as well.
Hey - I'm also in Gwangju and while I don't climb, my husband really misses bouldering. I hear there's a wall in a park in Sangmu, and also a climbing gym in Bukgu (possibly?) but haven't seen either with my own eyes.
ReplyDeleteThere is SO much climbing in Korea and SO many people to climb with. I know dozens as well as myself that go EVERY weekend! Just look on the forum and invite yourself!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, there is a Meet and Greet the weekend of October 16th and 17th near Wonju, Gangwon-do. The area is called Ganhyeon. You'll find it if you poke around on the forum.

I climbed in Ganhyeon a few years ago with a group from KOTR. It was great fun and an all-night party. Wonderful time and people.
